We have Warriors from Ft. Bragg that want to attend. The problem is, we need to provide transportation - we've got the housing. So anyone out there who can help - please let us know! This is only our 2nd year, so we don't have the $2000 + that we'd need to provide this service.

Wheels are starting to move faster now. Our sponsors from last year were great, but we don't have a commitment for this year. Let's hit the streets and find us sponsors!!! Help me out here. I know we all have day jobs, but we can't continue without corporate sponsorship.

Time to get started. Date and place are set - H. Cooper Black Recreation Area - 9-11 Oct 09. Although we love the trails and the people at Double J from last year, we had to make the difficult decision to have the ride somewhere else this year for several reasons. H Cooper has a clubhouse that is heated and has AC (so no tent needed), picnic tables inside the clubhouse (don't need to rent tables and chairs), kitchen, more campsites for those that need water/electric, barn and corrals, and is more easily accessible for those in wheelchairs. No river riding here, but there are several ponds, one has a pavillion where riders will have lunch. Those who want to bring their driving teams - bring em' on! The dirt roads are perfect for driving! We have reserved the grounds and clubhouse. The barn loop campground (11 sites) will be reserved for staff, but there are 16 water/elec hookups in the arena loop that will be available at an additional charge for campers that don't want to rough it. The barn has 24 stalls and there are corrals at each campsite for an additional charge as well.
